REVIEW: THE VICTORIAN FAIRY TAROT

Unboxing, First Impressions & Review

Review: The Victorian Fairy Tarot

I mentioned on my previous post that my first tarot deck is this Victorian Fairy Tarot and today I shall be reviewing this gorgeous deck for you. But first! Here's an unboxing video!

Now that you've seen what's in the box and the shuffle test, here are my first impressions.

WHAT I LIKE: 1. THE ARTWORK The deck is well made with borderless art, combined with stunningly beautiful fairies in a Victorian era theme. I also love the fact that being my first tarot deck, it is easy to connect with the fairies. It also eliminated the 'scare factor' with my querents when they saw my deck due to how it was drawn.

2. THE GUIDEBOOK

It comes with a 254 page illustrated guide book. I like how Lunaea has organised each interpretation with a very well thought of story, detailed description and summary guide words for each card. I like how her approach makes it easier for beginners to learn how to use the deck.

I always love personal messages like this.

3. CARD STOCK

Good card stock but shuffling is not as smooth as I want it to be. Nonetheless, it makes a sturdy deck because the paper is thick.

4. AVAILABILITY

Surprisingly, I bought this from a local bookstore.

5. THE BONUS!

It has an app which you can download on iTunes and Google Play.

WHAT I HATE:

None!

SCORE: ★★★★

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I have been in love with anything that has to do with a Victorian era theme so this deck turned out to be winner to me. It's not your traditional 'scary / dark' deck which is why it has 'friendly' personality especially with my querents.

That concludes my review.
