Unboxing, First Impressions & Review
I am such a supporter of indie decks and deck creators so imagine my delight to finally have my hands on this deck. I am proud to have my hands on a deck made and created by a fellow Filipina Tarot Reader, Chinggay, also known as the Practical Magic.
WHAT I LIKE: 1. THE ARTWORK. To be honest, I do not resonate well with modern-ish art but damn, this deck is awesomely weird. It has that modern vibe combined with nostalgia. I look at it and immediately thought of the 90s when we were all suckers for collage making. It def brought me back to my high school and college days. Ahhh... memories.
2. CARD STOCK
The cards are silky but too thin for me. I am handling and shuffling it with extra care.
Tarot bag and guide pamphlet gave extra points.
3. AVAILABILITY
You may purchase your PM Tarot here.
4. SHIPPING
Local and International Shipping are available!
WHAT I HATE:
Hmmm... 'hate' is such a strong word, it's more of a 'dislike'. The card stock is too thin for a hard shuffler like me. But the rest are thumbs up.
SCORE: ★★★
FINAL THOUGHTS:
May not be suitable for beginners or Tarot newbies. As I've often mentioned, I do not resonate well with modern decks (I'm trying to learn how) but my support with indie decks are always on.
That concludes my review.
