Unboxing, First Impressions & Review
The Hilda Tarot Burlap Edition is one wholesome deck! I really like the pin-up theme here. The images are all funny!
WHAT I LIKE: 1. THE ARTWORK & CARD STOCK. Artwork is by Duane Bryers, 'creator of an unconventional plump-bodied pinup girl, Hilda, who appeared in calendars from the mid-1950s to 1980s'. This deck was put together by Esther. Card stock has a linen finish and has a standard size.
Hilda Tarot Deck Burlap Edition has freebie crystals! I ordered the Hilda Tarot Clutch from Jenna, the magickal @moonlit_faye. You can get the Hilda Tarot Clutch here
Unfortunately, The Chariot card was not cut properly.
2. GUIDEBOOK
Does not come with any guidebook.
3. AVAILABILITY
You can pre-order here.
4. SHIPPING
Had in a month.
WHAT I HATE:
Not really 'hate' but I do understand that there are booboos for first prints.
SCORE: ★★★★★
FINAL THOUGHTS:
One of the things I love about this deck is the uncanny accurate representation of my body right now and how Hilda seems to be having fun with it. With the current skinny trend that we have, women have been having trouble loving their own body shape thanks to the constant criticism and shaming we experience everywhere. This deck is just filled with feminine energy, passion, creativity and confidence that allows us to get in touch with our inner goddesses.
That concludes my review of the Hilda Tarot.
