Tarot journaling is important - it is a great tool for self-reflection. It can serve as your magical grimoire, a study buddy or a diary where you can write your thoughts and feelings. Either way, remember that this is all for you and your growth. Your writing doesn't have to be perfect and your journal doesn't have to be expensive.
📓 FIND A BEAUTIFUL BLANK JOURNAL
It could be lined, dot grid, graph or blank journal. It could be hand made or store-bought. It can be spiral bound or hard bound. It could be black, kraft or the usual white pages. The most important thing is that it reflects you and it will make you happy to write on it.
📘 IDENTIFY ITS PURPOSE
For beginners, I recommend that you write your study notes in it - the card meanings, symbolisms, personal reflection, spreads, daily card pulls and so on. Your tarot journal could also be used for creative writing or be witte in a form of a planner or bujo.
📔 MAKE IT A FUN ACTIVITY
You can draw, doodle, make it look like a scrapbook, add stickers, washi tapes, glitters, decorative paper or make a collage. You can also amp it up with gorgeous calligraphy. Let your creativity flow.
🖋 START WRITING
Get over your fear of the blank page and start writing. Set aside 15-30 mins of your day to write in your tarot journal.
